About Our Community

Benedictine Nuns
Greensburg, PA, United States
At St. Emma Monastery we are a small group of nuns who follow the Rule of St. Benedict (480-543). Our life is centered around the praise of God which we chant together six times each day in English using simplified Gregorian chant melodies. The center and summit of our monastery’s life of prayer and work is the celebration of the daily Eucharist.
